Installation guide
1. Check Windows services running through Task Manager> Service to stop them if FlexLM Service or FlexNet License Service or LMTOOLS.exe is running on the solution.
2. Edit the Lic.dat file. (Instead of HOSTname name the computer and place your Mac address instead of the MACaddress)
Note : This information can be obtained by running LMTOOLS Utility.exe and going to the System Settings tab. Set the Hostname and Ethernet Address values respectively in place of HOSTname and MACaddress respectively.
Configuring Server Licensing and Run the Software: Run the
LMTOOLS Utility.exe file from the Autodesk 2016 License Manager TA. In the Config Services tab, click "Save Service" and then "Yes."
4. On the Start / Stop / Reread tab, click Start Server. You must see the Server Start Successful message to ensure the operation is correct.
5. Run the Autodesk Maya application.
6. After leaving the software, go to LMTOOLS Utility and click Stop Server on the Start / Stop / Reread tab.
Tips :
1- Before running the software, you must start the server . (Check Steps 3 and 4).
2. It is best to place the folder for the Autodesk portable software and the folder for the Server Management application in one place.
