The gear is a device for transferring power from one axis to
another, in which the amount of torque or rotational speed, or the direction of
rotation or axial direction can be changed. With the advent of this
device, the industries took on a different shape, and many of them were
transformed or set in motion. Primary gears were not very efficient
because of their not having a dent, but with the addition of this feature they
became the integral part of the industry. Gearotic is a comprehensive software for designing a variety of gears. Using this software,
users can design different types of gear wheels, circular, non-circular gears,
and even Celtic knobs in two-dimensional and three-dimensional form. In
addition, the software is Mac 's moving to see the design and operation of CNC machine
control also provides to its users.
A key feature of the software Gearotic:
- the Mac design two-dimensional and three-dimensional
- Ability to design gear types, circular and non-circular
- the video the user is very simple and yet functional
- Ability to save projects to formats DXF and STL

Gearotic is now online and has replaced
GearoticMotion. Gearotic has grown a lot over the past few years. It
is now not just a gear template generator, but it can also create objects for
3d printing, design clock escapements, tabbed boxing, circular and non circular
gears and even Celtic knots. We hope you enjoy the new and added features
of Gearotic. It continues to grow and have features added and upgraded at
users request. Its demo is free and showcases the programs
capabilites. We consider it an adjunct to CAD programs of all types and
hope it helps you in your design work.
It is our hope that Gearotic will allow what
in the past could be done by dedicated hobbies to be done by the more casual
hobbiest. Gearotic is written by Art Fenerty, the original maker of the
Mach series of machine controllers. It is supported by Art, and by Bob
Landry, a fellow Gearhead. Our forum is meant for anyone interested in
making gears easily, and we hope it will become a gathering spot for users to
share their ideas or results. So if your interest is in clockworks, window
openers, whirligible or rube-goldberg machines, we hope you find a comfortable
spot to meet and discuss such things.
