Microsoft DirectX is a collection of application programming
interfaces (APIs) that run on multimedia applications, especially game and
video programming , on the Microsoft platform. In essence, the names
of this "interface" Application-driven APIs start with Direct Direct,
Direct3D, DirectDraw, DirectMusic, DirectPlay, DirectSound, etc. After the
introduction of the XBox, Microsoft introduced the application interfaces for
designing multi-base games such as XInput, Which was designed for the Macintosh or the replacement of
DirectX components. Direct3D ( 3D graphics API within DirectX) is widely distributed Computer
Games for WindowsMicrosoft, Microsoft Xbox and Microsoft Xbox 360. Direct3D is
also used by other software applications for graphic and visual tasks more significantly
within the engineering section for CAD / CAM due to its ability to quickly
capture 3D graphics using DirectX-compatible graphics hardware. Since
Direct3D has been widely publicized in DirectX, it is common to see DirectX and
Direct3D names used instead. Learn how to use the functions of

Learn to handle multimedia, game programming
and videos using Microsoft DirectX.
We will be working on the DirectX Direct Conceptual and Practical level. We will be working on DirectX 11.2. DirectX is the rendering API by Microsoft. Direct3D is part of DirectX. DirectX is a collection of APIs for handling tasks related to multimedia, game programming and video on Microsoft platforms. Originally, the names of these APIs all began with Direct, such as Direct3D, DirectDraw, DirectMusic, DirectPlay, DirectSound, and so on. The name DirectX was coined as a shorthand for all of these APIs and soon became the name of the collection. When Microsoft later set out to develop a gaming console, the X was used as the basis of the Xbox name to indicate that the console was based on DirectX technology.
We will be working on DirectX and will be using C ++ as the language of choice. For a better understanding, we need to know Vector Algebra and others, We need Windows8, Visual Studio 2013, Windows HDK. DirectX comes along with Windows HDK.
We will start with creating a simple window. Then we will move on to create triangles. We will create quads and different primitives like Cube. We will learn how to rotate the cube, add texture, add lights to the cube.
