Description
EPLAN Harness proD is a modern software for documenting and 3D design of power cords, protective covers and wiring. The strength of this product is in automating various operations, from importing the list of wires from the EPLAN platform to wiring cables and creating their documentation in this software can be done. The ability to use related mechanical information from MCAD systems and ECAD connection information means that the EPLAN Harness proD can potentially integrate with PDM environments. The EPLAN Platform 2.5 will be delivered as a 64bit Version only. Office 32bit can still be used, however, SQL or SQL Express will then be needed for the parts database, the translation database and the project management database. Otherwise if Access is needed for the parts, translation and project database, then Office 64bit is required.

Version 2.9 was installed and successfully activated on Windows 10, 64-bit version, on November 1, 1400.
Note that EPLAN software (including proD) is generally not enabled and usable on a virtual machine.
