Description

Carlson Precision 3D is a suitable software for creating and editing digital terrain models or the so-called Digital Terrain Model (DTM). DTM is a three-dimensional model of the earth's surface that maintains the X, Y, Z coordinates of a specific region of the earth. In this model, all land features including lakes, streams, border lines and other altitudes are considered. To take into account all terrain features, DTMs provide a very accurate model of the ground surface, and programs such as Carlson Precision 3D are designed for 3D display of these models. The three-dimensional model of these features provides very good information to engineers.

In addition to the standard formats of this software, namely TIN and Grd, this program also accepts two other popular data formats called LandXML and DXF. One of the prominent features of this product is the display and fixing of common errors in DTM models, which you will see in less software. Surveyors, engineers and contractors can all be comfortable with the quality of the final DTM.
